Tryfonas Modestou once again is inspired by his homeland Cyprus and the beauty of traditionally built stone houses and churches. He uses texture to portray the hardness and dark side of femininity, while he continues to incorporate softness and decorative laces into his designs in order to emphasize elegance and beauty.

Metallic silver colours taken from the dark skies of rainy afternoons and blush pink tones influenced by purity and beauty of flowers, this palette is used in soft silky surfaces in contrast with textured and metallic textiles.

Tha architecture of Saint Sozwmenos Church has influenced the cuts of his AW 2015 collection, while the lace is used to symbolize the decorative doors found in traditional houses in Lefkara village, famous for its heritage in traditional lace craft.
